When you won't want to hyphenate your name

It is a growing trend among women to hyphenate their surnames upon marriage, instead of simply replacing their own surnames with their husbands'. For instance, Miss Betty Davis becomes Mrs. Betty Davis-Brown upon marrying Mas. Robert Brown. There could be very compelling reason sometimes, however, not to hyphenate their names.
